Instantly visualize all of the Epics of your release — and any dependencies between them — across one simple-to-understand timeline that makes it easy to rally everyone around your roadmap! Get started by selecting the Epics you want to include in the timeline. Manually add additional Epics according to your plan, and then visualize dependencies by dragging the dependency line between relevant Epics. Easily update your plan by dragging and dropping Epics to new dates on your timeline according to fast-changing priorities.

Why should I use the Release Timeline View?

Visualize the different Epics in your release on a timeline roadmap so that everyone is aligned around deadlines and expectations. Map out dependencies so that the entire team is aware of the importance of their deliveries.

How should I use the Release Timeline View?

Select the Epics you want to focus on when you add the view to your Personal Views. Add additional Epics as per your Release Plan, and map out the dependencies between them by dragging the dependency line between the relevant Epics. Easily update your Release Plan by dragging and dropping Epics on the timeline to reflect modifications.

This view is relevant to anyone involved in Release Planning. It’s also great to show your teams how their work depends on each other and to align everyone around release dates and deadlines.

What outcomes should I expect from this view?

This view allows you to clearly visualize the release timeline of your different Epics and add dependencies between each. This view helps to reduce risks by aligning the team around your plans and showing them how their work impacts the delivery of subsequent Epics.
